New favorite song

This has nothing to do with Parker, which is what I normally post about, but I just wanted to share it with everyone. It is my new favorite song by Zac Brown Band. It's called Chicken Fried. Enjoy!

That's right. Parker and I went to the doctor's office again this afternoon for his second flu shot. He is getting to be such a big boy. He barely cried when the nurse stuck him in his left leg. He is such a wonderful baby. I snapped a quick pic of him after the shot and before the doctor came in to check on him. It's a little blurry, but I wanted you all to see how bug he is getting. He weighed in at 19 lbs 6 ozs today.

Saints are Superbowl Champs!

Did we predict it our what?

Parker and I were all decked out in our Saints garb to root the Saints on to victory!

By the time the 4th quarter was nearing its end, Parker, in an outburst of joy, stripped! Yep, that's my hat he is sporting. Nice, huh?

Anyway, we are very proud of our Saints. I have been a fan since the late seventies when my family moved there. I still can't believe it. All I can say is WOW!!!

Getting Excited!

Parker and I are watching the pregame show on CBS and getting really excited about the Saints Superbowl win later today. Yes, I said win. I really think this year is their year. And how great would that be for Parker to always know the Saints as Superbowl Champions.

An Afternoon outside

Yesterday, Parker and I enjoyed a few minutes outside since it was such a nice day in Katy. I took these cute pictures of him with my iPhone.

Fun at the Gymboree Gym

We made a trip to the Gymboree Gym today. This was Parker's first time to this gym. Now that he is 6 months old, he is eligible for classes at a gym that is closer that than the previous one we tried out. He had a lot more fun today because he is more aware of things and able to interact better than we he was younger. Below are some pictures and one video I took of our time at the gym.

Parker loves to be on his tummy now. Here he is on a half bean bag having a blast!

This was Parker at the top of a slide that he went down three times and loved it!

Here Parker is signing along with the group to one of the many nursery rhymes we sang.

Parker loves to be on his back and look up at people. He always laughs and smiles when we do this.

Happy 2010 Everyone

Parker wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy 2010! He is looking forward to his first full calendar year and to all the new things the new decade has in store for him. Keep checking back throughout the year for more of his whereabouts and doings.
